OARA Chess Tournament 2025
We’re excited to host our Under-14 Chess Tournament on June 28, 2025 at the OARA Makerspace in Vernon, BC. With over $500 in prizes across beginner and intermediate categories, it’s a celebration of young minds and strategic thinking. Registration is open now and is free for eligible OARA members and summer camp participants.
Chess Tuesdays at OARA
Join us every Tuesday at the OARA Makerspace (3125, 31 Ave, Vernon) for a fun and welcoming chess experience. Chess Tuesdays are open to all ages and skill levels and include:
- Casual play and community bonding
- Optional lessons for beginners
- Mini in-house tournaments
Time: Every Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
