Coding and Robotics Camp Consent and Risk Acknowledgment

By enrolling in the Coding and Robotics Camp conducted by Okanagan AI and Robotics Academy, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Participation Consent

I hereby give consent for my child to participate in the Coding and Robotics Camp at Okanagan AI and Robotics Academy. I understand that the camp involves activities related to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), including but not limited to the use of LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime software and hardware.

Technology and Software Consent

I understand that participation in certain activities may require the installation of LEGO® Education SPIKE™ software, Scratch, and Python on personal devices. I consent to the installation and use of this software for educational purposes during the camp.

Special Needs and Allergies

I agree to inform camp staff of any special needs, medical conditions, or allergies that may affect my child’s participation.

Photography and Media Consent

In accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, I grant permission for Okanagan AI and Robotics Academy and its representatives to take photographs and/or videos of my child during camp activities. These may be used for educational, promotional, or informational purposes in both print and digital media.

If I do not wish to grant this permission, I understand that I must notify Okanagan AI and Robotics Academy in writing prior to the start of the camp.

Acknowledgment of Risk

I acknowledge that while all necessary precautions will be taken to ensure safety, participation in the camp activities involves inherent risks. I release Okanagan AI and Robotics Academy, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage
